Seidō — End User License Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using the Seidō application (hereinafter, "the Application"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.

1. License Grant

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use Seidō on devices owned by you for strictly personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Age Requirements

The Application is intended for users at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the Application.

3. Privacy and Local Data

  • Local Storage: You acknowledge that Seidō operates using a local database. The Application does not sync data to the cloud nor does it require user registration in this version.
  • Data Loss: You are solely responsible for the integrity of your data. Deleting the Application or clearing the device cache will result in the permanent loss of your session and interval history.

4. User Responsibility and Health

Seidō is a productivity tool. The user is solely responsible for setting healthy work and rest intervals. The developer is not liable for eye strain, stress, or any health issues resulting from the use of the Application.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding its uninterrupted operation or the absence of errors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Seidō shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or special damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.

Seidō — Privacy Policy

At Seidō, privacy is a fundamental pillar of our philosophy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in the current version of the application.

1. No Collection of Personal Information (PII)

Seidō does not collect, request, or store any type of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses. You can use the application with complete anonymity.

2. No Registration System

The Application does not require account creation or login through third-party services. There is no linking of data to external user profiles.

3. Strictly Local Storage

All generated information (interval settings, session categories, purposes, and history logs) is stored exclusively in your device's local database.

  • There is no synchronization with cloud servers.
  • The developer has no access to your usage data.
  • Deleting the application will result in the permanent deletion of all your data.

4. Service and Analysis Providers

To improve stability and understand app usage, we use:

  • Sentry: To identify and correct technical errors automatically.
  • Google Analytics: To know the number of active users and the operating system used.

These services may collect non-identifiable technical data (such as device model or OS version). This data is not associated with any personal identity.
